SLINGSHOT is a casual, fast paced 3D sideview game. The players navigate through an endless void and experience the rush of freedom and speed. Any direction is open and there are no limits to this world. While cubical elements can be destroyed at a certain speed to maximize the highscore, triangular elements let you bounce off and change direction.
You move with powerful dashes and smooth swings that allow quick U-turns and last minute escapes from the wall of doom that is hunting you in short intervals at an accelerating pace.

FUTURE
To ensure replayability and attract both casual and hardcore gamers, we thought about game achievements and skill challenges that unlock badges, sounds or other visual rewards. New challenges could be either time based or require precise mastery of movement, while the fun and easy basic game loop ensures satisfaction even for beginners.
Adapting the game for mobile devices is the next logical step in our process. SLINGSHOT is a fun and casual game with easy input, making it particularly well suited for tablets or smartphones. During development, we paid special attention to making the input intuitive and comfortable. For this reason, translating it to touchscreen is going to be the biggest challenge.
Although tablets have the advantage of a larger screen, they are uncomfortable to use with two thumbs. Smartphones are more suitable for our game experience. However, the screen size might be too small if the input buttons already take up space.
